Seafood supports the livelihoods of many people in Japan,
a country surrounded by the sea.
It is only natural that sake, a spirit born in Japan,
has evolved over the years to pair wonderfully with seafood.
Science has now started to provide proof of that chemistry.
Sake effectively eliminates the fishy smell and enhances the umami taste.
Seafood and sake are the perfect match both scientifically and culturally.

This campaign aims to inform Hong Kong citizens who love seafood of the little-known fact that sake is the alcoholic beverage that goes best with seafood, and to invite them to experience it for themselves.
By collaborating with popular restaurants in Hong Kong to offer dishes paired with sake and by holding special fairs, we will make sure you can enjoy the perfect match between sake with seafood.
We will also organize an SNS campaign from 19 September to 31 December. Please post your photos and comments to Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag "#seafoodlovessake." When posting any message or photo, please check in at the restaurant concerned or identify the shooting location (name of the restaurant).
